Car Alarms & GPS Tracker Systems Installation Skills Training

May 20 @ 09:00 - May 24 @ 16:30 EAT

USD250

Introduction

Security, especially theft security of vehicles in common parking places or enroute has become a matter of concern. An efficient automotive security system is implemented for anti-theft using an embedded system integrated with Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM).

our training will address the issues surrounding design and the prevailing commercial smart anti-theft systems that use GPS and GSM system to prevent theft and to determine the exact location of the vehicle.

“Once an unauthorized person tries to run the vehicle by giving a wrong password an alert message is sent to the owner of the vehicle that the vehicle is being stolen. This information is passed on to the central processing system whereby sitting at a remote place, a particular number is dialed by them to the interfacing mobile that is with the hardware kit which is installed in the vehicle. By reading the signals received by the mobile, one can control the ignition of the engine, say to stop the engine immediately……”

This training addresses the installation and testing of automotive security systems and components in vehicles or machinery. It involves preparing for the task, installing and testing system and component operation, and completing workplace processes and documentation. The security systems and components will not require programming following installation as they do not communicate with the vehicle or machinery controller area network databus (CAN-bus or LIN-bus) topography.

This training targets, among others, apply to those working in the automotive service and repair industry. The electrical security systems and components include those being installed in agricultural machinery, heavy commercial vehicles, light vehicles, vessels, mobile plant machinery, motorcycles, or outdoor power equipment.
