ARCHICAD SPECIALIST CERTIFICATE COURSE

[city-events city=’Nairobi’ category=’Workshops’ width=’100%’]
This training is based on ArchiCAD 21 which offers a one-of-a-kind, BIM-based construction documentation solution. It simplifies the modeling and documentation of buildings even when the model contains an unprecedented level of detail. ArchiCAD’s end-to-end BIM workflow, featuring the new Priority Based Connections with Intelligent Building Materials, automatically provides structurally correct sections and details, offering maximum ROI on the work invested in creating the Building Information Model, and allowing the model to stay live until the very end of the project.

THE BEST PRACTICE COURSE

  • Do you ever feel like you’re doing things the long way around?
  • Does it seem like you’re fighting ArchiCAD rather than having a good friend?
  • Have you given up trying to figure out how some features are supposed to work?
  • Do you really want to understand the best AND fastest ways to get things done?

Do these points seem familiar?

You need to figure out how to make things work — Our very experienced trainers will help you. Along the way, you’ll learn the general principles that stand behind the surface challenges, and pick up lots of little “gems” – the tips that will make you go “wow – I had no idea you could do that!”

Learn everything you need to know to create precise 2D and 3D drawings with AutoCAD 21. Our training will take you through tutorials and practical skills with the aim of providing AutoCAD beginners (and pros who want to learn more) with the skills required to use AutoCAD 21 effectively in any industry—architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or product design.]

SO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE CCTV INSTALLATION PROFESSION?

HERE ARE SOME KNOWLEDGE TO BE EQUIPPED WITH:

The size and type will depend on many factors: Namely:
– The Size of Your Home: The more area, the more cameras needed. You’ll also need higher quality with better resolution and field of vision for larger areas.
Security Needs: Ranging from a couple cameras to monitor your children to 360-degree coverage both inside and outside your home to deter criminal activity.
– External or Internal: Internal cameras don’t need to be weatherproof and are often less expensive than external varieties.
– Wired or Wireless: Wires make for a much tougher install. Professional help is recommended.
IP-based or analogue HD: IP-based systems tend to cost more.
Monitored or Unmonitored: A security service adds to installation complexities but provides 24-hour monitoring and other upgrades at a monthly fee.

How Much Does It Cost To Install a professional Security Cameras system (For an average home).

  • National Average: $1,441 (based on 8-channel system 150 K).
  • Typical Range: $737 – $2,148 [ KES 75K – 220,000] (4 camera system & 16 Camera system)
  • Low End: $179 [KES 18K] (A single self-supported camera system

  • High End: $3,500 [KES 350K] (16 Camera IP-based Cameras with a resolution of up to 6 MP)

PROFESSIONAL FEE TO BE CHARGED PER CAMERA

Wired System – $50 – $200 (KES 5,000 – KES 20,000) per camera

Though the installation runs higher than wireless –averaging about $100 9 ( KES 10K) to $200 (KES 20K) per camera – the elements of wired systems are more affordable. Because holes will be drilled, wires added, and conduit put in place, hiring a contractor is typically necessary. Beyond the upfront expenditure, the only real drawback is fixed locations. The pros may outweigh the cons. Wired systems cannot be hacked remotely, jammed, and have power built in – often with battery backups for power outages.

Wireless System – $ 0 – $100 (KES 0 – KES 10,000) per camera

Wireless systems are easy to install, making them the choice for DIY projects. A DIY install will run you $0 with professional work only about $100 (KES 10K) per camera. They’re also easy to move and almost always offer remote access. Drawbacks include no direct power source and must be installed within your home’s wireless network range to function correctly. They often have lower resolution than wired counterparts and can be hacked remotely. Wireless models are also subject to signal interference.

Now you do understand clearly the need for Comprehensive CCTV, Survey, Design, installation and management training.
